Keith Buterbaugh is currently appearing as Judge Turpin in the 2007/2008 National Tour of SWEENEY TODD, directed by Tony Award Winner John Doyle. Broadway credits include COMPANY, directed by John Doyle (Tony Award for “Best Revival”/2007) and The Phantom of the Opera. Off Broadway, Keith has appeared in THE LITTLE PRINCE and MADEMOISELLE COLOMBE (w/ Tammy Grimes). Other National Tour credits include Gaylord Ravenal in SHOWBOAT (w/Cloris Leachman/Dean Jones, Pat Harrington/Anita Gillette); PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and KING AND I. Regionally, he has appeared in Stephen Sondheim’s PASSION (Promusica Chamber Orchestra), My Way (Atlanta), 90 North (Kennedy Center), I Left My Heart (American Stage). Mr. Buterbaugh’s opera credits include The Marriage of Figero (Cincinnati Opera) and Die Fledermaus (West Virginia Symphony). His many concert appearances include Three Redneck Tenors (2005), Peter Nero & The Philly Pops, NYC 100th Birthday Celebration w/Skitch Henderson, “Salute to Jerome Kern” at Carnegie Hall. TV: SKITCH HENDERSON: “A Man and his Music – 80 Years” (PBS), The Dave Chapelle Show. FILM: Red, Crime Partners. Keith is especially thankful for the constant support of his wife Sarah and their children Kelsey and Christopher. |
