REBECCA BAXTER
Rebecca Baxter most recently appeared in the National Tour of The Phantoms Of The Opera. She has performed in the Encores Series at the New York ‘s City Center. Other New York credits include the Broadway Companies of Jekyll and Hyde, Meet Me In St. Louis, and the title role in New York City Opera’s Cinderella with Jean Stapleton, Jane Powell and Sally Ann Howe. She has appeared in several presentations of the 92nd Street ‘Y’s “Lyrics and Lyricists Series.”

National Tour credits include Ken Hill’s Phantom. Regionally, she has been in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at the Kennedy Center and “Hope” in Anything Goes with Leslie Uggams. She has portrayed “Josephine” in H.M.S. Pinafore at the Huntington Stage in Boston, received a Helen Hayes nomination for her “Cunegonde” in Candide at Arena Stage, portrayed “Magnolia” in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Show Boat which was filmed for PBS’ Great Performances (where she also had the privilege of playing “Johanna” opposite George Hearn’s Sweeney Todd). Rebecca has performed principal roles at the Ordway, Old Globe, George Street Playhouse, and Hartford Stage, and the Augusta, Virginia, Portland, Omaha, and Minnesota Opera Companies as well.

She is married to Broadway actor/singer Merwin Foard and is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Phoebe and Bailey.
